ITU World Grand Final Rotterdam course announced and timetable released

ITU WORLD GRAND FINAL ROTTERDAM COURSE ANNOUNCED

The LOC has revealed the course for the ITU World Grand Final Rotterdam. The Elite, U23, Junior and Para athletes will face a very technical cycle course with a lot of curves. The breathtaking sequence of corners will challenge the athletes’ skills and experience and it will all be about confidence. The cycle course for the Age Groupers leads participants along the Maas river, crossing the three landmark bridges of Rotterdam, the Erasmus Bridge, Willems Bridge and van Brienenoord Bridge. Each of the races promise to be utterly exciting and worthwhile.

TIME TABLES RELEASED

Friday 15 September the Para Elite and Open races will be the first to take over the inner city of Rotterdam, followed by the Junior Women and U23 Men. On Saturday the Junior Men and U23 Women races are the lead up to the Grand Final Elite Men and Women. The final day of the Grand Final, Sunday, will showcase all the Age Group contenders and waves of triathletes will compete in the Sprint or Olympic distance.
