Age Group Start and Check-in schedule
Considering the athletes distribution on the course, the LOC has rescheduled the Age Group waves for the ITU Age Group World Championship Grand Final. Accordingly, on the bike course, athletes will now have more space than usually allocated for each (approximately one athlete per 35 meters). This will avoid congestion on the bike course, with limited numbers of competitors at the same time around the bike loop. Please refer to the Age Group page for the new start and check-in schedule of the Olympic and Sprint distance or find it below:
Age Group bike familiarisation
The LOC is inviting all Age Group athletes participating on the World Championship races on Sunday to a Bike familiarisation that will take place on Saturday from 8.30 am to 10.00 am. We recommend all athletes participating to take this opportunity and familiarise themselves with the course. The meeting point will be at Willemsplein, next to Erasmus bridge and Nieuwe Leuvebridge. They will have free movements and they will go through the technical section of the course, which includes, Boompjes, Willemsbrug and Koninginnebrug and loop back to the beginning of this section or you can continue yourself with the remainder of the course. Please note that on the bike course there are currently construction works to improve the conditions during the races (removal of road furniture, traffic islands, etc). Those works will be completed on Saturday.
