The ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Rotterdam will be held in the centre of Rotterdam. Make sure you plan your trip on time! For who is planning on staying in Rotterdam longer the city has a variety of hotels.


Schiphol to Rotterdam

Arriving at Schiphol Airport? Check out and 9292 to plan your trip from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam. It takes around 50 minutes to get from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam Central Station and 56 minutes from Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam Blaak. Note: if you want to use Intercity direct to Rotterdam Central Station, you'll need a special ticket.

Public transport

Because of the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Rotterdam, a part of the city centre of Rotterdam will be closed for traffic between September 14 -17 2017. We advise participants and visitors to travel with public transport and to plan their trip on time. For real time travel information within Rotterdam please check:

The city centre of Rotterdam is easily accessible through the train stations Rotterdam Central Station and Rotterdam Blaak. Both of the stations are connected to the extensive metro system of RET. Using the metro you can easily travel to different locations along the course.

Visitors can use the watertransportservice for an additional price. The watertransportservice can be used based on availability (10-12 pax per boat). The other way to get across is to walk over the Erasmusbrug.


Park & Ride locations

Rotterdam is easily accessible through the highways A13, A15, A16 and A20. When you are travelling by car you can park at one of the free Park & Ride locations. From here you can easily travel to the city centre. Please visit for all Park & Ride locations.
